A community garden for its residents? This establishment in Beauport had already thought about it! But back pain and weeding are not compatible… In 2017, Les Urbainculteurs have redeveloped the existing garden by planting perennials… and especially by adding rised beds! There’s no reason to lean: residents can now sow, plant and harvest at the right height!
The result? The gardeners are back in force! Their number quickly tripled. In addition to being a great opportunity for socialization and a light and pleasant physical activity, gardening gives responsibility, revives childhood memories, and gives a sense of pride when it comes time to harvest, taste and share!
