Project description
At the initiative of the international and environmental affairs officer of the student association, Cégep Garneau embarked on the project of setting up a community and collective garden, accessible not only to the community of Garneau, but also to residents of the neighborhood and members of Loisirs St-Sacrement. It will also benefit the CPE La Frimousse and the Center for Rehabilitation of Intellectual Disability of Cégep Garneau.
Les Urbainculteurs designed and built this garden in 2019, in partnership with YHETHI. A row of blueberry trees delineates the garden and raised bins will also be accessible to people with reduced mobility. Photos of the garden full of plants are from 2020.
