Project description
In 2021, raised growing beds were installed at the Gatehouse of Jeffery Hale Hospital. We are pleased to care for the garden with people attending the RISE program for adults with special needs. The tasks relating to the maintenance of the vegetable garden are part of the creative activities organized in a ‘safe space’ so that the participants feel Respected, Included, Supported and Empowered. This valuable program is supported by the Jeffery Hale Community Wellness Center.
