Project description

Putting your hands to the ground, taking care of a living being, reconnecting with the seasons: the therapeutic effects of gardening are well known! It comes as no surprise, then, that a vegetable garden is a nice addition to the yard of a residential and long-term care center. Whether at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes (since 2018) or at the Limoilou (2017-2018) residential centers, vegetables have added life, an excuse to enjoy the outdoors and a reconnection with nature.

And because everyone should be able to enjoy these benefits, we create gardens adapted to different needs, such as raised bins to prevent back pain, or special bins to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility.
